How to cook apple and cherry compote
1. Wash 2 kilograms of apples and 300 grams of cherries.
2. Peel each apple from the seed capsule and cut into 8 slices.
3. Peel the cherries (it is recommended to use a special device for speed).
4. Pour 0.5 liters of water into a saucepan.
5. Put prepared apples and cherries into a saucepan, add 3 tablespoons of sugar.
6. Put the pot on high heat and cook until boiling.
7. After the compote has boiled, reduce the heat to a minimum, cover the pan with a lid and cook the compote for another 10 minutes with low boiling.
8. Pour the finished compote into prepared jars and roll up.
