Can I brew coffee in a pot?

Making coffee in a saucepan is not difficult. With all the variety of different recipes, there are general rules that must be followed when cooking. Traditionally, it is recommended to use 1 tablespoon of coffee to get 200 ml of a drink. You can increase or decrease the rate to obtain the desired strength and richness. You can cook a larger volume for several people at once or to pour it into a thermos. But it is impossible to heat a pre-prepared drink - its taste is significantly deteriorated.
For cooking in a saucepan, it is better to use coarse coffee. This makes it easier to control the formation of coffee grounds. The pan must be prepared: warm it up on the stove and pour over boiling water, or bring the water to a boil in it. You should not bring the coffee to a boil. After the appearance of the "frothy head" the pan is removed from the heat, covered with a lid and left for a few minutes.
