How much vinegar to pour into honey mushrooms?

Reading time - 1 min.
honey mushrooms
Vinegar is added when pickling honey mushrooms as a preservative, so that the mushrooms are stored for a long time and without a refrigerator, and the snack has acquired a sharp-sweetish taste. There are quite a few ways to spin pickled mushrooms, depending on the use of other preservatives (sugar, salt, acetic acid, garlic), mushrooms may require different amounts of vinegar. But there is a general rule - with moderate salinity, 1 teaspoon of 70% vinegar essence is added to the hot marinade (per 1 liter). If you are using 9% vinegar, then add 8 teaspoons of it. Well, 6% vinegar should be added 12 teaspoons. Remember not to boil the vinegar as it will it loses its preservative properties. Also keep in mind that if you add too little vinegar, honey mushrooms can go bad, and if you add too much, they will have a too strong taste and smell.
