The resulting dry pilaf is not a disaster. You can make adjustments that will save the dish. This is very easy to do. It will take a little meat broth or just boiling water, or onions fried in oil. One of these ingredients must be mixed with pilaf in a small amount. It is better to add little by little, so as not to get the opposite result - overcooked rice porridge. The property of rice to quickly absorb liquid will allow pilaf to acquire the necessary juiciness in a matter of minutes. Such a simple technique allows the hostess to correct the situation and gain experience in cooking pilaf for the future: water should be added to pilaf 2.5 times more than rice, and cooked over low heat so as not to dry it out.
