If your tongue is too salty
Beef or pork tongue is a real delicacy, and if it turns out that it is too salty, it is always very offensive. Sometimes this happens simply because the language (pork or beef) is cooked for a long time: during cooking, the water boils away and the salt concentration exceeds all possible norms. But even a heavily salted tongue can be saved and it is quite simple to do it.

Salt tongue salvation options:
  • Heat milk, put tongue in warm milk and squeeze lightly with your hands from time to time. This milk will make a great sauce.
  • Boil your tongue in milk, as excess salt comes out, milk must be changed.
  • As a last resort, cut the tongue into portions and sweat everything in the same milk.

These are the steps you can take to boil your tongue so that you can serve it as a cold cut. By the way, remember that the tongue does not have to be bland - it's still a snack.

If this option did not help, and the tongue seems very salty to you, slightly change the original culinary plan: put the salted tongue on a salad with some juicy ingredients (for example, fresh vegetables) - the sauce and other products will pull salt over themselves and the dish will turn out organically tasty.
