How to refresh dried pilaf?

Pilaf, not eaten on time and left in the refrigerator, dries up a little after a couple of days - this is a common thing at all does not mean that you have violated rules for cooking pilaf... In order not to throw away the dish and return it to a presentable and edible look again, you can use one of the following methods:

  1. Add some meat broth to the pilaf and mix well.
  2. If there is no ready-made broth at hand, you can simply pour in a small amount of boiling water.
  3. Fry the onion in a large amount of oil and mix with the pilaf.

It is better to mix additives in pilaf gradually, in several steps, so as not to make rice porridge out of the dish. The rice will absorb the liquid, and the dried pilaf will become juicy again.
