Can you make jam from unripe apples?

Reading time - 3 minutes.
unripe apples
- Of course you can! And it turns out very tasty, tart, incredibly sour - but with proper cooking, the sourness becomes very pleasant.

You can even cook dessert from unripe, sour apples. The ideal ratio of unripe fruit to sugar is 1: 1. Peel the apples from the cores, and if the skin is very tough (unripe apples can be "impenetrable"), it is also better to cut it off. Cover the apples with sugar and let them stand to juice, ideally overnight. Then put a saucepan or bowl with future jam on the fire and cook after boiling for about 10 minutes. You need to let the resulting semi-finished product cool for an hour, then boil it again. There can be from 3 to 5 such approaches. The more times the apples are boiled, the more the syrup will thicken and acquire a rich color, and the apples will boil and become soft.

Sour apples in such a jam will have a wonderful taste and wonderful aroma.
