Semolina is a classic breakfast for children and adults, but when cooked, it often seems too liquid to us. Especially at the beginning of cooking. But remember that semolina perfectly absorbs moisture, it just needs a little time for this. If you are cooking semolina and it seems too liquid to you, use the following methods to thicken it:
  • Wait a couple of minutes - semolina porridge tends to swell when boiling, and thicken in just a few seconds.
  • Add a little more semolina in a thin stream to the pan and cook everything together for a couple of minutes.
If you have already cooked semolina porridge and it turned out to be thin, or the semolina is over, just keep it on the stove until the desired consistency, or pour the porridge into a plate and it will thicken slightly when it cools. As an extreme option, add breakfast cereals to the porridge - then the breakfast will also become unusual.

And of course, it's never too late to just take and cook semolina porridge again, taking into account all the rules.
