What plant semolina porridge?

Reading time - 5 minutes.
wheat
Semolina is made from wheat. On any bag with semolina it is written "from soft wheat" or "from durum wheat". Wheat fields in Russia are dark, but semolina is not always included in the diet of adults: it so happened that other wheat products have found much more widespread use. For example, regular flour or pasta is made from the same cereal as semolina - that is, from the same wheat. As a rule, semolina is made in the same plant as flour and pasta. It happens like this: the wheat is harvested, the grains are separated from the chaff, they are peeled, and the kernels are ground to a state of coarse flour. In this form, the semolina can be seen by looking into the bag with it. Of course, semolina needs to be boiled and pasta or flour will never be obtained from semolina, but sometimes semolina can be replaced with the same flour - for example, when making batter or for thickening minced meat or pancakes.
