Buckwheat grows in wide fields, at first it blooms with beautiful white flowers (which, by the way, help in the production of buckwheat honey), up to a meter high. Flowers discolor and dryish inflorescences appear, which are then harvested by combines and processed before sale.

The main stages that buckwheat goes through before entering the retail network:

- At the first stage, grain from the fields is processed in a special machine that cleans buckwheat from stones and other debris.

- Then, for 1 hour, buckwheat is subjected to steaming under high pressure at a temperature of more than +120 ° C. After this procedure, the husk easily exfoliates from the grain.

- Then the husk is removed by blowing.

- Then the grains are sorted by size. Buckwheat is passed through sieves with different cells.

- Then buckwheat is fried. For this, a powerful fan is used, which dries the grain with hot air. Therefore, buckwheat is brown. With this method of processing, the grain loses some of its useful properties.

- In the last step, black kernels and poorly processed kernels are removed. A special sensor finds them and eliminates them using an air jet.

After that, the prepared and peeled buckwheat is packed and delivered to store shelves. There, buyers buy buckwheat, bring it home and cook according to all the rules. :)
